A sleepout or granny flat is effectively a small house — it needs its own submain from the main switchboard, a properly sized sub-board with RCDs, dedicated circuits for lighting and power, a smoke alarm, and often a hot water and heat pump circuit. Done wrong it's an insurance and consent nightmare. Done right it's a clean, signed-off install that adds real value to the property.

We run armoured submains underground where required, terminate into a fully labelled sub-board, and wire interior lighting, GPOs, heat pumps and hot water. We coordinate with the council inspector if the build is consented, issue a Certificate of Compliance and Electrical Safety Certificate, and provide the as-built drawings the inspector needs.
