A well-lit exterior does three things: stops opportunistic break-ins, removes trip hazards on paths and stairs, and makes the house look properly finished. We design and install outdoor lighting that does all three — sensor-activated security floods at entry points, low-level path and step lighting, eave-mounted downlights for entertaining areas, and deck and garden accent lights.

Everything outdoor must be IP65 or better, on RCD-protected circuits, with weatherproof junctions. We install dusk-to-dawn photocells where appropriate, motion sensors with adjustable lux and timeout, and zigbee or wifi smart controls if you want scenes or schedules. We also tidy up illegal or unsafe outdoor wiring — bare flex stapled to walls, lights wired off the lawnmower socket — and bring it up to code.
